Move On's online primary is over, and unfortunately no one candidate got more than 50% of the vote. Damn shame, really, since that means Move On isn't endorsing anyone at this stage of the game - but the winner by far was Howard Dean, with 139,360 online votes. Dennis Kucinich came in second at 76,000 votes... since 317,647 people voted in the web site's primary, you can see what kind of support levels the various candidates got.

I voted for Dean, myself. He seems like a sane man with reasonable policies in his home state, and unlike a lot of other candidates he's openly admitted that gun control does not and can not mean the same thing in New York City that it does in Texas. I'm no fan of firearms myself, but I'm a product of my environment. Guns around here mean an attempt at self defense, but they also mean deadly force in the hands of far too many people to whom life means nothing. Guns out in, I dunno, Nebraska? They mean recreation, self defense, protection of property, and the occasional whacko. Between Governor Dean's stance on healthcare for every American, on the war in Iraq, on budgetary policy, on labor, and on this particular issue, I think he's probably the sanest choice the Democrats have.
