camwynJust bought myself travel insurance for the vacation this September. Not of the 'pay my family if I fall out of the sky' variety, although to some degree I think that's included in the policy - this is 'cough up $$ if I have to cancel or change dates'. I wouldn't have bought it if I didn't know my tickets were nonrefundable. I doubt I'll need it, but... well, I work for the Red Cross; God only knows what might happen to take me away from Alaska this September, you know? If they're going to do that to me, I want my cash back so as to get to Hong "They took us off the WHO shitlist!" Kong.
As it stands, like I said, non-refundable tickets. Besides, going to HK but not mainland China would be insulting to my Wuhan penpal, and the provinces I'd be passing through on the mainland are still on the shitlist, so I'm gonna have to keep on saving. Oh well.
