camwynToday Og watch movie Og only hear about from Dante's Inferno and All Night Video Store. Movie called Dog Soldiers.
Og not often watch scary movie. Og very easy get scared at scary movie. Og watch part of "Event Horizon". Sam Neill still make Og scared (and Og glad glad GLAD Og not have to put fingers in eyes for contact lens any more). So Og not think Og rent movie like this. Then Og read Dante review of movie. Dante part of U. S. Army. Dante like bad bad movie, but only if bad movie also FUN movie. Dante good like that. Dante like Andrew Borntreger, USMC, who also like bad bad movie. Dante like Dog Soldiers, so Og get Dog Soldiers. Movie have tag line sound like Og: "Six soldiers. Full moon. No chance."
Og gotta say, movie way better than that.
Movie happen in part of Scotland forest where Army have special training. Soldiers come to forest, find guts. Find last man still breathe. Try to get away but big hairy thing try kill them. One soldier die. Woman come in car. Living soldiers go with woman. Soldiers find out big hairy thing werewolf - lots of werewolf. Soldiers in many many trouble. Too bad soldiers not bring silver! Gun only make werewolf slow down, get mad! Oh &*()&)(!!
Og have trouble figure out how say what Og think of movie. Og really really like movie. It not like Event Horizon. This movie not about werewolf and man with gun. This movie about soldiers. Soldier enemy is werewolf, yes, but it not werewolf movie. Maybe it like Alien, but Og bad bad cave dude - Og not see Alien. Maybe little bit like Terminator, but only little bit- werewolf not stop until soldier dead.
Og think maybe important part is that soldiers not like other people. Og think take six people in woods for hunt and fish, put in house, throw werewolves at house, Og not care about six people. Og not even think people care about each other. This not like that. Sarge not want see Bruce die, even with werewolf RIGHT THERE, so Sarge try save Bruce. Cooper try very hard keep Sarge alive even though Sarge guts try come out. Terry not want come to forest, want stay home, watch soccer, but Terry try very very hard keep fighting anyway. Not whine about not see soccer. Spoon find sword, find axe, give to other soldiers, be decoy. (Spoon get great line near end of movie.) Joe outrun werewolf, get car for get away, even though werewolf throw human head at windshield while Joe in car. All soldier want to save other soldier. All soldier more mad not able save other soldier than scared of werewolf. Soldier think team most important thing. Soldier say, hmm, maybe we send one person go get help - then say no, stupid idea. If one go, all go. No split up. Save all, not every man for self.
Soldier movie more like werewolf movie maybe than people think. Werewolf in Dog Soldiers hunt as pack, as team. Soldiers? Soldiers in Dog Soldiers also work as pack. But soldiers not like werewolf pack. Soldiers willing die if that what needed to kill werewolf. Soldiers willing sacrifice self for brother soldiers. Soldier life dearly bought, and only spent for sake of other soldier.
Og think this damn fine movie. Go rent movie. Not trust og? Then ask Dante.
