The trouble with successfully finishing up usable athletic wear sewing projects is that if you are proud of having made viable, functional, zipper-front sports bras*, you then either have to show the things in use or empty. And if you do not own a full length mirror, or have a photographer available to take your picture for you, you wind up doing all kinds of weird camera angles, because the line between 'look, supportive upper-body garmentry!' and 'LOOK, TITS!' is a fine one, and is not helped at all by the way upper quadrant fat distributes itself on the side with the arm holding the camera.

Do not get me started on trying to photograph my own athletic tights. Taking a picture of an empty sports bra on the table or the bathroom floor yields a slightly pathetic-looking result, but at least it isn't too hard to get the whole garment in the shot. Laying the tights out flat gets you a decent looking garment but you have to keep your feet or the edge of the kitchen table out of the shot while raising the camera high enough to get everything between the waistband and the ankle hems at the same time.

I may have to get a damn full length mirror after all.

*where 'viable' means 'this week's workout routines included three different forms of jumping jacks and while there was some degree of motion there was not enough for discomfort or pain'
