Jul. 19th, 2018 10:28 amWent to see Sorry To Bother You last night. Good movie, and funny, and darkly satirical, and the first time in a LONG time that I have been genuinely surprised by a movie.
I... do not know how to describe the surprise without giving away a major plot point. I am going to put it behind a cut because I have to tell somebody.
( Okay, here it is- some nudity description involved but that's not the surprise- )
I just... it... yeah.
(Also for those who may have an issue with such things, Tessa Thompson's character is a performance artist who at one point does a piece that involves standing in front of a crowd wearing only strategically placed gloves while they throw cell phones, bullet casings, and water balloons full of sheep's blood at her.)
