Jan. 12th, 2016 08:30 amAdd another one to the list of Things Cam Has Found Lying In The Street Or Other Highly Trafficked Public Area, But Which People Are Probably Looking For. Previous entrants have included: a preschool application containing multiple addresses, phone numbers, and social security numbers; a wallet containing a good bit of cash, several business cards, and an uncashed check; about half of a marketing presentation; and a Fedex envelope addressed to someone at the district attorney's office.
Today's was a notice of warrant cancellation issued by the Trial Court of Massachusetts. It's one of those documents that includes the line KEEP THIS NOTICE ON YOUR PERSON AS EVIDENCE OF THE CANCELLATION, so you'd think it wouldn't have landed in the street without an envelope.
It's got an address on it. I'll be taking it to the post office at lunch. Seems like the kind of thing that ought to be documented on its way back to its target.
