camwynMade it to the Institute last night. Never mind his genetic identity, there is nothing whatsoever that can make anyone who uses the name 'Father' reassuring in ANY WAY to someone who's watched Equilibrium as many times as I have.
Also I'm kind of impressed. The Institute's robotics lab complete with what amounts to third gen synth 3D printing has a vat that not only applies skin to the new synths, but underwear. And the process is sufficiently disturbing that I no longer feel the urge to wonder where they keep the room where they eat people.
On the other hand the revelation about the genetic source of the gen 3's means that Valentina's technically been sleeping with her granddaughter...
