Jun. 10th, 2014 08:58 amOkay, so, I'm awake, I'm at work, I've got a batch of soap sitting in the switched-off oven at home swaddled in towels to keep the heat in while it goes through the gel phase and hardens up, and ... something. I forget where that sentence was going, I got interrupted partway through.
(The soap is olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil and sweet almond oil, with cedarwood, clove and eucalyptus scents, if it turns out well and anyone is interested in a bar.)
I need to write some stuff for RP purposes at some point. Fallout stuff, mostly. I have plans for Ellen shortly but I want to establish her with the various people who were frozen on board the alien ship and are thawed out and living in the Capital Wasteland now, first. I'd also like to get her interacting with more people but I may have to wait for a bit until the current major plot kerfuffle dies down, because trying to get any attention when a big plot is going on is always tricky.
I saw a couple of E3 reveal trailers yesterday when I was in Gamestop at lunchtime. Much as I enjoyed Assassin's Creed 4 and was kinda impressed by what I've seen of 3, I don't think I'm gonna bother with Unity. I'm not interested enough in the French Revolution to get into it. Call me when they set a game in 1850s or 1920s China, or during one of the more turbulent parts of Korea's or India's history or something. I'm also not sure what to think about the new Mass Effect stuff we're seeing out of Bioware but hell if I know what they're doing with it; it could be a prequel or something, which would be pretty neat. If anyone hears about Bethesda going "oh yeah, here's Fallout 4", please let me know, because I can't spontaneously manifest at the Gamestop counter with preorder money in my hand unless I have a reaaaaally good reason.
There is probably something else, but this morning's caffeine dose from the mocha isn't doing its job, so I'm gonna go deal with RL for a while.
