For those looking for people as Irene makes her way along the shoreline: I'm with my parents in Morris County and will be staying here tonight unless a miracle happens and Irene either completely dissipates or takes a sharp turn in a completely unanticipated direction.

The cats are at home. Pet service fed them yesterday and is feeding them today. I asked the pet service to leave extra food today. I will do anything in my power to get back to them as soon as possible.

Got to go head out to my grandfather's funeral. More later.

Went to the store to pick up beans and beef for my parents to make chili tomorrow. The bottled water section was completely empty except for $4-a-bottle VOSS water and this crap.

I just want to get back to Hoboken and make sure the cats are okay.
