May. 10th, 2010 08:12 amI love my family, and I love my parents, and I love my mother, but sometimes I wish they'd gotten bored in July or September instead of August.
(Translation: I'm being whiny about the fact that, as happens far too often, I shared my birthday with Mother's Day this year. It is a stupid and self-centric thing but it would be rather nice not to have to share the party once in a while. Even in years when the two dates are not the same, the events are usually collapsed together because it's just simpler that way.)
