Aug. 4th, 2006 06:35 pmPossibly the sweetest words I have ever heard from one of my bosses, barring marching orders to places I was desperately needed for the Red Cross:
"This is already two years behind schedule, so a few more days won't hurt anything. This process started before you ever got to this company. Don't worry about it."
Translation: Back to wiping and reinstalling the recalcitrant server, but I know the executive VP- who's married to the coder that's been the one with the most at stake in the SQL/Frontpage department- knows I'm doing all I can and that this isn't me being grossly incompetent after all.
