Given that it's done scene-for-scene, I think we can give the thousand word limit a pass.

HAMLET
(for really impatient people)

ACT I )

ACT II )

ACT III )

ACT IV )

ACT V )

(For those of you who want a look at the original, I suggest http://www.hamlet.org, as I used their online text of the play to do up my outline for this.)

Sorry. Little excitable there. I got an email back today from someone who had asked to use the Thousand Word Silmarillion at a convention the last weekend of August. Being the ignoramus that I am, I was not clear on the size of this convention. It was the Fellowship Festival 2004. The programme director had asked if it would be possible for her to make it into a Powerpoint presentation and run it on the main stage.

I heard from her again today.

We DID use it. I opened with it before the actual opening ceremony. I added a
count down to it at the end, so it worked really well. I opened it with title
and "by
$INSERT_CAMWYN'S_REAL_NAME_HERE" so your name was shown.

It got really good laughs and a huge applause at the end. Cudo's to you. Of
course you can mention it on your website now. "The home of the original Sil
in a thousand words as seen in London" *G*. I can also tell you that the guy's
from the British Tolkien society had a really good laugh too.

She's offered to send it to me as soon as I can come up with a mail account of mine that'll accept a file that size.

I gotta go squee now, okay? I'll put the Hamlet on my site tomorrow.
