Crowmark: ... I'm sorry, that just cries out for a 'yo quiero Taco Bell' commercial involving Jackie trying to order the seven-layer burrito supreme and getting jumped by Russian mafiosi.

I picture it ending with Jackie being flung over the counter and stopping with his face all but smooshed up against the camera as he holds up his burrito at last and yells 'Yo quiero Taco Bell!!!!'.

Civ III: PTW Patch released!

For those of you who play Civilization III, and have added the Play the World expansion pack, Firaxis Software has just released a new patch. Apparently it fixes a LOT of bugs and errors in the old version. According to the comments about it on the Civilization Fanatics' forum, it's been fixed to the point where it's now genuinely practical to play the game in multiplayer mode even with a 56k modem.

You can download the patch here, but be warned, it's 11 megabytes long.

Going shopping now. Will work on Iron Dog some more when I get back... oh, yeah, and the local Best Buy has bargain packs of Big Trouble in Little China and Kung Pow: Enter The Fist for $16.99. I'm happy.
