I am at work.
Feb. 7th, 2003 09:11 amThere are two inches of snow on the ground outside and four inches of ground on non-ground surfaces - when I say 'ground' I am referring specifically to the parking lot, I cannot vouch for the grass.
I fully expect to be sent home early, as the various radio stations indicate the snow is unlikely to stop before 2 PM, and a few indicate 5 as a more likely closing time.
Neither rain nor snow, etc.

Y'all need to see this.

Snow couldn't even keep up past the 12:30 press conference on why we're now supposed to be peeing our pants with fear at orange alert. No early dismissal. Bah. And on top of that, my recent bank deposit wasn't enough to cover my $75 graduation fee check to Kean, so now I'm overdrawn by $60 and found out only after it was too late to get to the credit union and pull money out of my savings account.
Wonder if I can get home in time to get to the used bookstore with a carload of stuff.

An introduction for y'all...

mountainspeak, my good friend in Canada. Living proof that a Canadian can play host to an American for an entire week, even through the stresses of a car accident caused by an overly monied moron, without going nuts and calling for the Royal Canadian Mounted Ninjas to 'make it look like an accident'. Say hi, everyone!
