I find myself very glad for the winters I spent in Cleveland at university.

Personal Ultimate Movie! Well, not mine yet, but.

I've just had a nose around elvichar's journal and found this little gem of an entry. It put me in mind of the discussion that a number of my fellow insane LJ friends and I had, where we determined that the Ultimate Good Movie was one that had pirate monkey ninjas in spacegoing giant robots, and pie. (Because everything's better with pirates, everything's better with monkeys, etc.) Based on a review of elvichar's DVDs, their stars, and their plots/plot elements, the following statement is made:

In conclusion: on this evidence my ideal film appears to be a kung-fu musical comedy, starring Kevin Spacey and Jackie Chan as vampire drag queens.


Suddenly I have this terrible urge to go home and count over my own DVD's. I feel reasonably sure my ideal film is not in English, but beyond that I don't know.

Urgh, I'm tired... I'm pretty sure 75 percent of my body's blood supply is still wandering around my digestive system for lunch's sake, because it sure as hell isn't carrying refreshing oxygen to my brain. I had Annie's microwave mac and cheese for lunch and am wondering whether the cheese is not composed of some particular set of dairy products that the body translates into 'warm milk' in terms of soporific effect.

I'm all out of Manhattan Special, too. And I filed my taxes this morning.

Can I go home now? Please?
