Had fun today.

Saw my beloved Sanxingdui artifacts again at the ROM. They had replicas for sale this time, but I"m not paying $350 for a bronze mask smaller than my own hand. Sorry. Saw "Spirited Away", too, which I enjoyed greatly - although I was seeing it through the eyes of an anthropologist. And after the movie my friend and I went into a Chapters bookstore, where I saw a hardcover book that caused me to sputter and giggle. I bought the first book in the series, as the hardcover was book 2. I absolutely, positively had to post about this because if I called cadhla from my celphone from Toronto to report the book I saw, I'd never be believed...

Look, I just think a book called The Woad to Wuin is grounds for giggling hysterically, ok?
