Da Vinci's Notebook is playing in New York City on 12 July. Gonna have a little time to get Lady Mondegreen together and bip down to the Bottom Line Cafe?

cadhla and her New York area friends introduced me to them when she was here late last year. I have two of their albums - Brontosaurus and The Life and Times of Mike Fanning. They're pretty much on tour all summer, it looks like.
Well, I can tell you that since Shabbos is not out till 9 pm or so, the Shabbos observant would not be going. And I should note that the next morning is Shakespeare in the Park Day, with a tentative plan to wake as many people up as early as possible to get to Central Park in time to be on line quickly. Of course, this latter factor only matters if you plan to sleep. I think that the collected forces of LMG will be awake till the wee small hours no matter what. (Jess, will you join us for the play?)
BEyond all that, I don't think I'd want to see them again so soon, unless we know that they have changed their concert sets. But I am a cynic.
Ooo, eck, I'd forgotten about the Shabbos issue. You're probably right about the concert set too... although I wouldn't mind provoking them to do Spiderman during the 'we take requests' section, I doubt the rest of their stuff would be changed much.
*squints at calendar* What Shakespeare play this time?
The play is Henry V. If the description on the Web site - www.publictheater.org - is accurate, the director will be playing up the similarities and differences between Henry and Dubya.
The star? Liev Schreiber, who was magnificent as Iago in the 2001 production of Othello, and is considered by many to be the best actor on Broadway today.
I have been telling everyone I know about this. At the rate we are going, we might have something like 40 people interested (which would require 20 people for the line, but that's another matter).
