Honestly, what kind of a GM would I be if I obeyed such a silly rule? *pats quintus gently on head* Although I do have to say I don't really seem inclined to giggle so much as entertain a nice broad whopper of a monkeysmile... same idea, though.

Yup. Then again I was raised on the adage 'never trust a smiling GM', so.

As it happens I'm just glad I'm running this RPG via computer - it's a LOT simpler than trying to keep a straight face in person...

To those of you who are my players, or who are thinking of becoming my players when I finally get to run VicMage.Asia properly, let me give you this much of a warning. I have access to a lunatic with great familiarity with Chinese and other Asian cultures. We have a habit of bouncing ideas off each other. Since I'm the GM, I get final say on what goes in, but the primary criterion we use to determine what actually makes it to the game is: does it make either one of us say aloud 'we're going to Hell for this, aren't we'?'.

We're reasonably sure that they're going to have to add a special subsection onto one of the more bizarre Chinese hells to handle our case properly.
