My brain doesn't ever stop moving - not ever. I suspect ideas like this are its revenge for not having meditation time or something in which to quit running in circles. On the other hand, it is a fascinating prospect if you think about it or have read the original source material...

(I once played an elf in an uber-high level crossover campaign. One of the hooks on which I hung the character was the whole difference between Elves and Men vis-a-vis death.)
