I've often felt that videostores would benefit HUGELY from a card-catalogue-like index. Or something that would give you more crossreference, so you would know what you were looking for better.
Something that would say Enjoyed Seven Samurai? You might also enjoy The Magnificent Seven... but say it better than Amazon.com's recommendations.
