Dunno if any of y'all read Real Life-
Mar. 7th, 2003 09:16 amyou know, the comic at this link - but I do, and I've done so for some time. Funny stuff, and one of the few strips to make it into Keenspace/Keenspot's "LEET" comic book that I actually like. Greg Dean - the comic's author and artist - is currently part of a webgame called Kings of Chaos, where you build an army and stomp around attacking/being attacked by people of similar strength. It seems like a neat idea so far, and it's free; the thing is that your army increases in strength based on how many people you recruit to the game, and then on how well you perform in combat, how strong your fortress is, how many mercenaries you hire, etc.
I clicked on the link at Real Life and signed on the game last night. I count as an officer in Sagus' army (his user name in the game); I'm Camwyn, a dwarf (the four races available are Human, Elf, Orc, and Dwarf). If I get attacked, I get assistance from him because he recruited me through that link. That's how it works. Of course, right now I'm too small to be noticed by anyone, let alone attacked, but hey - I'll deal.
So, anyway... if any of y'all think any of this sounds like it might be fun, would you consider being recruited into my army? This is my army recruitment link here. If not, no biggie.
Thanks!

So in 24 hours or so, I can be recruited again, and I'll go join forces with you and whatnot.
