Og here. Last night Og not get sleep until really really late. Og not get bed until later than Og usually do, because Og across river, watching Shaolin monks from China do big big show. Og only say this:

Wow.

WOW.

Og not know people able MOVE like that without picture magic. Og only pay little attention to story - not much story anyway, little bit history of Shaolin Temple where men go be Buddhist monks - because Og too busy watch men on stage do things no cave dude EVER think how to do. Bend like Mongolia acrobat, fight with other monk like - okay, this what fight look like. When Og only little cave dude, very stupid cave dude in Og tribe. Stupid cave dude see other cave dude feed wolf cub, get wolf stay around, scare other wolf off. Stupid cave dude decide try this with big teeth cat cub. Big teeth cat cub not want stay, so stupid cave dude grab cub, try take back to cave anyway. Big teeth cat cub have other idea, start try take stupid cave dude apart with claws.

Monk fighting other monk look like BOTH monk big teeth cat cub in bad bad mood. That fast. That dangerous.

Og never watch beat-everybody-up movie again without think of last night. Jackie Chan, Donnie Yen, Jet Li... all good, all fun, but monk from last night? First. Best. Original.

Og say: three cheer for human evolution.

*psh* Okay, see, let's go back to the part where several of the guys on stage were maybe eight years old, tops. That's how old they start them at - and these guys were my age or older. If I gave up everything I do for a living and for fun right now and started training in those techniques... I might conceivably begin to pick up some of that. Eventually.
