Thank you, Boston
Aug. 29th, 2024 03:19 pmI have a pair of open-ear earbuds- they clip onto my ears and play good quality sound at a reasonable volume but block absolutely nothing in the way of outside sound or air passage. I use them for anti-tinnitus purposes, mostly. They're viable for use at the office since they mean no one else has to hear what I'm listening to but also I can hear it if someone talks to me. Slight issue: while they're compatible with my eyeglasses, they don't work well if I'm wearing an N95 and take it off. I lost the two of them yesterday morning without realizing it, as I had purchased an iced coffee and potato nugget things at Dunkin on the way to work. realized it once I got to the office building, didn't have time to go back and look or call the Dunks folks.
I took the same route back through a park when I left for the day, hoping to find at least something. Maybe they fell off in the street on my way to the park and got run over, or something.
Nope. Some kind Bostonian had found both of them and very thoughtfully placed them on the edge of a raised plant bed in the park where they could be seen immediately if you knew what you were looking for.
Thank you, Boston.
