The thing I'm probably going to miss most about working from home five days a week once September starts- my office goes to WFH on Mondays and Fridays at that point- is having a fifteen-year-old cat on hand who wanders up to me at random intervals and won't leave me alone until I park myself in the recliner and offer up my lap. I then wind up Gotomypc'ing into my office computer from an iPad while the cat sleeps contentedly in my lap.

Awwww. Lap kitties are one of life's best features. Even when they purr into the mic* or get curious about the radio gear**. Darn office, depriving you of multiple daily doses of kitty love, and the cat of their lap time. *shakes fist at corporate whatever*

* This happened to an RL-space friend, while they were on a conference call. XD Also to a customer, while said customer was on the phone to me. Mid order, enter purry meowy Maine coon. I melted!

** Also not me, though I was an auditory witness. This happened to a fellow ham while the local public service net was going on. There was much amusement.
