Visited family for Thanksgiving. My sister, her husband, all four of her kids and one of his were there; so were my mom and dad. Stayed with Mom and Dad over the weekend.

Saturday morning Mom gets a phone call. Sister's temperature is 102. Fifteen minutes later the test comes back positive for COVID.

On my way home on Sunday her husband tests positive. Monday I get a message saying one of my niblings came up positive.

I've had four shots and the only reason it isn't five is because '9/11 responder' isn't a high risk factor in itself without 'confirmed 9/11 related lung disease' tacked onto it. God, I hope that's enough. I'm taking the first test somewhat later today because I didn't cross paths with my sister until after 11 AM. Five days, you know?

ETA: tested a little past 11 AM, came back negative. Will test again in a day or two.

Fingers crossed so hard for you! I've definitely seen many people luck out, including with more exposure than that -- Becca, for instance, didn't get it back in the spring when I did despite sharing a bed with me for multiple days before I tested positive -- and I hope very much that the odds are on your side.

Well, this morning's test came up negative, but that was five days from time of initial exposure and I did spend Saturday and part of Sunday morning in the same house as the positive nibling, so... we'll see how test #2 goes.
