Small mercy from my brain: it will now letme switch away from Keeping the Faith to another song on the same Billy Joel album. "Time To Remember" is not a bad alternative.
However, since I have been learning Klingon in order to yell at politicians, my brain has decided that any use of Time to Remember as an audio track must be accompa ied by visuals of what happens when a human filmmaker tries to make an action epic war romance about Kahless and Lukara.
Still better than TOOK A FRESH PACK OF LUCKIES AND A MINT CALLED SEN-SEN.

Date: 2022-08-04 06:35 am (UTC)She cuts you once, she cuts you twice
But still you believe
The wound is so fresh you can taste the blood
BUt you don't have strength to leave
You've been bought, you've been sold
You've been locked outside the door
But you stand there pleadin',
With your insides bleedin',
'Cause you deep down want some more
Then she says she wants forgiveness
It's such a clever masquerade
She's so good with her stiletto
You don't even see the blade...
Only since she's a Klingon it's not a metaphor for emotional manipulation. Just "everyone in this romance is super into destructo nookie and dominant women".
