camwynDon't know how I missed the fact that it had gotten to be noon. Last time I looked at the clock was around 9:30. Maybe 10.
Trying to do some basic Azure training at work (mostly it's introduction to concepts right now). Periodically I need a break so I get up and work a little bit on a sewing project for someone with circulation issues in their legs and heat intolerance problems; this pairing is relevant because the circulation issues mean mosquito bites scar badly, so wearing shorts isn't a good idea for them right now. Trying to do a pair of linen pants for them in the hopes it'll at least slow the damned bloodsuckers down.
Downstairs neighbor spent most of the morning yelling, carrying things out to her car, slamming her door, and then taking her dog and driving somewhere for stretches of time, only to return for another round of yelling and slamming. I do not know how the court business went last week, no one ever contacted me about that after I sent my statement to the landlord. I am stifling the terrible urge to try to find out. It is not my business until somebody shows up on my doorstep with a legal document.

Date: 2022-08-20 02:49 pm (UTC)If the mosquito net pants don't fit the bill I'm going to be making a test pair of shorts for said friend out of tencel twill that I had bought ages ago and then forgotten to do anything with. They need another pair of shorts and the fabric was going unused anyway, so it'll at least be a test of the breathability qualities before making full trousers.
