camwynWe went back to working in the office last week, although it's only on Wednesdays and Thursdays until Labor Day.
MBTA sent out a message last night saying they were closing the Blue Line down between Airport and Bowdoin from April 2 to April 14 and replacing it with shuttlebuses. For me, this would mean get on a bus -> get on a train for two stops -> get on another bus -> oh God we have to navigate the streets around Maverick Station and then the tunnel traffic, how long am I going to be stuck on this damn thing -> okay, walking now.
I have asked my boss to please let me work from home on the Wednesdays and Thursdays of those weeks. He says he's going to see whether he can get the okay for that.
