Oldest niece has presented a Christmas list to the family since it is Thanksgiving and okay to ask now. One of the items on the list is 'crystals'. I inquired about this; she likes to have them on her person and occasionally display them, and asks that the giver choose whichever ones they feel are right for her rather than specifying what she wants to see.

The amount of pure metaphysical bullshit I have been wading through online in search of stones that seem like they'd be suitable for her without being tacky or thoughtless is breathtaking.
