Still no luck with the COVID-19 site stuff. I have had several cases of one specific pharmacy showing up as supposedly having availability... and then I click on 'show me your time slots!' and get told "NOPE NOTHING HAHAHAHAHA".

Okay, not that last part.

Just frustrated. And I have only been trying since Sunday midnight. I'm not signing up at the prereg site because the state hasn't added anything other than the seven mass vaccination sites to the prereg list yet, and I would vastly prefer to use a site within walking distance, or bicycling distance if I had no other choice (mostly just so that if I somehow had an allergic reaction after the shot, the trip home wouldn't be that much of an issue). Hynes Convention Center is a significant distance from here and would require either three different kinds of mass transit/two different kinds of mass transit plus a bicycling segment or a car rental. If I'm going to do that I'll go for the car rental and get a slot with my medical practice at the same location where I went for my mammograms; at least I'll be able to get parking there.

Unrelated to COVID, I was trying to recall something musical a little while ago, hit upon a partial memory, and am now saddled with the labor movement lyrics version of the Battle Hymn of the Republic as an earworm.

I'm so sorry. I had to get it out somehow and transmitting it to other people usually works.

I signed up for the pre-reg site but I always have apps for CVS and Walgreens and have been checking them as they're closer. Its a lot to figure out.

I lucked out here in WA becuase I had an awful bout of insomnia Saturday night and had gotten up at 4am after giving up on sleep and refreshed the tracker page to find a nearby Walgreens had just opened a bunch of slots for this Friday.

This whole process has been super-frustrating. Wishing you best luck in finding a nearby jab.
