Gray out, and a little misty. The snow seems to be working on melting but I don't know how cold it's likely to get today. Cloud cover's pretty thick; barring a high wind surge of some kind I'm not likely to be able to see the Great Conjunction tonight. Alas, but what can you do.

USPS says the package sent to Queens departed a Queens distribution center at 6:46 AM, the one sent to Michigan left a Detroit distro center at 6:42 AM, the one sent to Wisconsin is still in mystery bullshit pre-shipment land, the one sent to Virginia is out for delivery, the second one I sent to my parents in NJ is also in mystery bullshit pre-shipment land, and the Potato Parcel I sent a friend of mine made it from California to New Hampshire yesterday morning.

DeJoy still gets an Experimental Atomic Wedgie if I ever meet him.

I have a package coming to me in New Mexico from Kentucky. It started in Charleston, WV and scanned in last night in Honolulu. I'm so boggled.

A box of chocolate sent to me (north Jersey) Priority Mail from Philadelphia on December 14 is still in transit. It was in Cincinnati, Ohio, on December 15. In the last few days, it has been to three different distribution centers in Jersey, one of them twice. I was supposed to have the box for a Zoom chocolate tasting birthday party last Friday.
