Yet ANOTHER of my RPG characters

camwynescapes into the real world. This was a postcard in a set I bought from http://www.stupid.com - they were selling packets of postcards of mainland Chinese female soldiers. I bought this as a gift for someone but couldn't resist thumbing through 'em, and found this one.
Look, Mommy! It's Guo Ping-Ping!
No, that's not what the characters say. They say 'zhongguo nu bing', which I am assured means 'China's female soldier'. But the 'I'm in my happy place now' smile is so perfectly Ping-Ping that I'm going to assume my Feng Shui character looks like this girl. Only maybe about twenty pounds heavier and a good bit shorter, 'cos Ping-Ping took to eating a lot of chocolate after the psychotherapy failed to make any substantial changes in the sniper mindset.
EDIT NOTE: I was sufficiently embarrassed by an error I made in the original post to go back and change it. Zhongguo is correct, zhongwen, the original word, was not. There, I feel better now.

Date: 2002-11-25 09:02 pm (UTC)THat would be the sound of my head meeting the table. I had zhongwen.com, the language site, open in the next window as I looked up the character for 'soldier'. I thought 'hmm, I had better not let that bleed into my brain' as I switched back to the LJ window. I got back to the LJ window and my stupid fingers went on autopilot...
