Bought a Singer Stitch Sew Quick 2 battery-powered handheld sewing machine on eBay, got it out of the box yesterday, no manual in the box (apparently this is common), no manual on the Singer website. Found a couple of tutorial videos on Youtube, mostly by someone named VianneyCreates. Couldn't get the machine to work last night, did some more fiddling with it according to her videos this morning. I got it to work for several stitches and then it choked. I think this is an issue with the fabric I was using and/or me handling that incorrectly, but for now at least I know the machine mostly works. I'll try to get things functioning properly later.

Lots of times when sewing machines choke, it's because the needle is in backwards. Not sure about that model, but it might be worth a look.
