camwynTalked to my parents yesterday. Two days ago they said my sister had 'a cold or something'.
My sister had a telemedicine session yesterday afternoon. Mom says the doctor thinks it's COVID but told her not to come in for testing because if it isn't COVID, she's just going to catch it waiting at the facility for testing. She's been prescribed albuterol and nebulizer use in the meantime.
I asked how her kids are taking it. The oldest (14) thinks she's going to die. The second oldest won't talk about it, but she's been cleaning up the kitchen and putting everything away without being asked, which Mom says is her way of reacting to being terrified. The two youngest are eight, and haven't really reacted.
I'm going to see about buying her a sizable gift card to some delivery service so if nothing else, nobody will have to put as much effort into dinner. And maybe send her something from Boston Honey Company, because if it isn't COVID, it's still doing a hell of a number on her throat and upper respiratory tract.

Also some varietal honey from Boston Honey Company. And offered to do a video call to distract the kids if needed, so we'll see.
