Apr. 6th, 2020 08:11 amI was going to make a comment about Thriftbooks' recommendation algorithm being weird for offering me multiple cookbooks and Partial Differential Equations based on my order history, but then I realized that I bought a copy of Normal Accidents: Living With High-Risk Technologies alongside a book of Buddhist recipes and The Essential Marcus Aurelius in my last order and figured the Perron probably made the algorithm think I was looking for mathy mathishness. In other news, yesterday I found my first seaglass bottle stopper, which I would show you if Firefox weren't being a pissy little !*@(), and also saw a new species of duck for the first time; there was a female bufflehead in the harbor. Silly sounding name, remarkably un-silly looking bird.
