Feb. 4th, 2020 01:58 pmA co-worker saw me putting almond milk on the counter this morning as I prepared my coffee.
Co-worker: Oh, hey, you use that stuff? Out of curiosity, have you tried oat milk, too?
Me: Yeah. I've been making my own, actually.
Co-worker: Of course you have.
The conversation went on from there (the co-worker was curious about textures and creaminess but has been a little ill at ease with the idea of oat milk or nut milk for reasons they're not sure about, just sort of ... uneasy), but I'm kinda pleased that I have that kind of reputation.
Which reminds me, I should see if any of the stores around here are discounting eye round or top round roast any time soon. It's been a while since I made jerky.
