camwynI get emails from Fire Mountain Gems on a regular basis, offering patterns, design ideas, etc. Today's was mostly 'accessorize jeans with jewelry!', 'multiple different ways of doing red, white, and blue jewelry!' etc. But there was one that I kinda snickered at, for Father's Day.
"Celebrate dad this Father's Day with a double-axe pendant, adjustable-length cord necklace he's sure to wear and appreciate..."
I'm sure they meant well by that and that there are doubtless plenty of guys who go 'cool, an axe!', but the first thing I think when someone's got a labrys around their neck is old school lesbians.
