camwynI was in New York City yesterday, coming home from visiting my parents for Easter (I try not to mention my travel plans online if I can avoid it, as a means of preventing opportunistic property crimes in my absence). Walked from Penn Station over to 6th Ave and then up to 53rd Street to catch the bus.
Three cross streets in a row had food booths selling halal street food. I was kind of amused at the number of attempts to capitalize on the same general name:
The Original Halal Guys
The Halal Guys
The Real Halal Guys
NYC being NYC, it's only a matter of time before Seriously Fucking Halal Guys shows up in Manhattan somewhere.
