Ah, poor Kiendo...

I'm on land 2. We'd just converted the Indian village on the other side of the isthmus - the one with no symbol above the hand, which Khazar nevertheless insists on pestering you about when you try to convert. ("I am fighting for the land you see below you." Izzat so? Then how come these people aren't praying to *you*, hmm?) After successfully bringing the lot of them into the fold, I took Kiendo's leash off and figured he'd either find himself something to eat or a place to sleep. Went over to the Temple and saved my game for safety's sake.
Good thing, too. After a few rounds of 'grant the worshippers' desires', I heard Lethys getting all whiney and hit C... only to find that Kiendo had wandered into Lethys' territory and was not only trying to impress his villagers but had apparently tried to make friends with Lethys' wolf. Holy !*&(, said I, that wolf's way bigger than Kiendo... I went to grab some appropriate miracles and came back only to find Kiendo ON FIRE. Putting himself out with the Water Miracle, but on fire nonetheless. Oh, and the wolf had been leashed to him... no fighting arena appeared due to the size differential, but that didn't stop the casting of aggressive miracles.
I've reloaded from the Indian village conversion as I'd rather not get into a fight *just* yet - I'd like to get miracle gestures down a little better before next time - but Kiendo's still got scars all over him, poor guy. Perhaps this time he will be more careful about wandering off without me.
