Two new jewelry pieces, one of which is a repair job on a piece I did last year, the other of which is new.

A necklace of green and brown sea glass wrapped in gold wire, being worn against a dark background.

On a snowy background, a close-up shot of a bracelet made from brass wire and light green spherical stones. The brass is wrapped around the stones in alternating round curves.

Same bracelet but seen from the left side, focusing on one woven wire end.

Same bracelet, also seen from the left, but focusing on the inside of the bracelet's far side.

The bracelet is the result of another project I'm almost finished with. I have the basic bracelet pattern from a Craftsy seller and I'd made one bracelet from her initial instructions before this; it occurred to me on a recent piece that it would make a good neckstrap design for one of my fancier, more Egyptian-looking necklaces. So I made two... and then realized that even though I used the same number of loops around the same number of stones, I had looped one so much tighter than the other that they were half an inch to 3/4 of an inch different in size. And you can't stretch wire. So I made a third bracelet, because I had enough aventurines left, and made sure to match the smaller of the two already done in terms of size. I now have two neckstraps and a matching bracelet. I just need to attach a bit of extender chain and do finishing bends, curves, etc. on the necklace before photographing it.
