Multiple financial markets are closed today as mourning for President Bush. I wouldn't ordinarily mention this, except that it means my office is allowing people to work from home, a thing for which I am grateful. Don't get me wrong, I like my job- especially after yesterday's annual performance evaluation- but being able to sleep the time that would have been spent on my commute, then wear jeans and a long-sleeved T shirt while I work on our Windows patches and DNS configuration is no small thing.

Hell, I'm waiting on the hardboiled eggs I made for breakfast to cool. Beats refrigerator oatmeal and thermos coffee any day.
