Oct. 19th, 2018 08:28 amI've had an urge to figure out how to securely wrap a particular shape of sea glass for a while now and use multiple pieces as fringe drops. I think I've got it reasonably well down at this point, so I've started wearing a pair of them as earrings for durability testing- the next step involves wire weaving to make the bit I'd hang things from so it may take a while.

The earrings use niobium wire hooks for maximum hypoallergenicity. The little green bead is peridot. All the gold-colored wires are solid brass. As for the color of the glass, those shades of brown are the most common ones on my stretch of beach. Boston drinks a lot of beer.
I will be listing things on Etsy once I get that necklace made. Worth noting, I have a good number of similarly shaped green and white glass pieces as well as these brown ones, and I take custom requests.
