May. 10th, 2018 08:53 amThey say people who read Facebook and/or certain other social networks come out of it in worse mental shape than people who don't. Not sure if that's true, but I've been noticing that it's very easy to come out of Twitter in an awful mood, so this morning I edited the hosts file on my computer to redirect twitter.com to 127.0.0.1. If I want or need to go to the hellsite, I'm going to have to do it on another machine, and I tend to be lazy about that kind of thing, so that should cut down on the amount of angry screaming I'm exposed to.
I mostly went to Twitter to scream anyway, or else to satisfy the various political/social groups that I hear from when they send 'thank you for taking $action_x! now can you help us more by taking $action_y?' requests.

But yeah, some days I just skip Twitter altogether. It's where people go these days to yell into the abyss.

*spends ten minutes on literally other social network*
"Ohhhhh, that's why."
