Note to self, 26 gauge silver wire (I think it's sterling rather than argentium sterling fwiw) is a lot stiffer and more of a pain in the ass to work with than 28 gauge. Especially when you're trying to wrap it around 21 or 22 gauge wire. Who knew fractions of a millimeter would make that much difference?

Worn in the left ear of someone with pale skin and dark hair, an earring made of gold wire and fourteen faceted crystal beads. The earring takes the form of a long curved wire that extends about an inch and a half downwards from the ear on both sides of the lobe, although it is slightly shorter in back than in front. The crystal beads are clear in color and are slightly flattened rounds, individually wrapped and secured to the long wire by barely visible copper wire. The barely visible end of the wire has been flattened and broadened just below the lowest crystal bead.

Worn in the right ear of someone with pale skin, an earring consisting of a spherical labradorite bead showing iridescent blue beneath the surface, surrounded by a circle of wrapped silver wire. There is a bit of squiggly silver wire at the top to hide the point at which the two ends of wrapped wire come together. The labradorite bead is about ten millimeters in diameter.

The gold wire and faceted crystal rondelle earring from before, but showing the earring slightly more from the side, so that the wrapping wires are more visible.

Worn in the right ear of someone with pale skin and dark hair, an earring made of silver wire and eight tourmaline discs. The wire extends for about an inch and a half downwards in curves on either side of the earlobe, although it is slightly shorter in back than in front. The tourmaline discs are about the same diameter, although they are of varying thickness, and are arranged in a spectrum of color from deep magenta at the top through pinks and oranges and pale greens to dark green at the bottom. The lowest part of the silver wire has been slightly flattened below the last tourmaline disc.
