I did one of these rings last year,
Nov. 9th, 2017 02:38 pmwith the same color metals and another bead from the same strand, but the wrapping wasn't as good and the wire was a heavier gauge. This one is a commission piece for another woman in my office.

18 gauge base wire, 28 gauge wrapping wire, dichroic glass bead- at least I assume that's dichroic glass, I don't really know. Might be lampwork. Might be something else. I got it as part of a string of beads at Michaels and at the time I didn't actually look at the bead tags for anything beyond their price. Pretty colors, though. This one's a size 6, as my coworker has smaller fingers than I do.
Fairly soon I will update my online store with as many of these pieces as possible. Also, the date for the trunk sale has been set; it's going to be December 2nd and 3rd, to coincide with the SoWa Winter Festival. About five or six different jewelry makers, myself included, will be participating. I don't know about the festival proper, but the trunk sale will be at Bead and Fiber, 460 Harrison Ave, Boston MA 02118. This should be interesting.
