So I learned a new wrapping technique from Gayle Bird Designs at Craftsy this weekend.

An overview shot of five seaglass pendants and one donut-shaped stone pendant. All of them have a four-stranded wire braid down the middle, although the first pendant's braid is so loose and awkward it would be charitable to even call it a braid. There are decorative swirls and loops of wire on each pendant, and the donut-shaped pendant's loops have small bronze and gold crystal pearls in the center.

Two pendants, side by side. The first one is of bluish-white glass and bound in brownish wire of a color officially called antique brass; it is about two inches long and somewhat less than an inch wide. The second is an inverted triangle of a frosted brown color that used to be part of a beer bottle and is bound in gold wire. The braid down the middle of the first pendant is loose and awkward towards the bottom, although it has two decorative loops on either side which are somewhat better configured. The braid on the smaller pendant is more distinct and the loops are precise and carefully placed.

The beer-bottle brown pendant, plus a slightly longer somewhat rectangular greenish-white glass pendant that was probably a wine bottle at some point; the greenish-white one is bound in silver wire, with multiple decorative loops up and down each side.

The greenish-white pendant, plus a two-inch-long by one-inch-wide deeper green pendant of glass that used to be a green beer bottle. It is bound in silver wire. The four-stranded braid is the central visual element, and there are several decorative loops of silver wire clustered at the top.

The deeper green pendant, next to a dark green-brown pendant in the shape of a blunted, inverted triangle. It is perhaps an inch long and bound in gold wire, with two decorative loops on either side of the central four-stranded braid.

The inverted triangle pendant, next to a stone donut perhaps two and a half times its size. The donut is of peach-colored stone with a few subtle lighter streaks and one or two small purplish markings. The four-stranded braid is of the same antique brass wire as the first pendant. It goes through the central hole of the donut on the top side. There are four decorative wire loops; a crystal pearl of either bronze or gold color has been threaded on the wire to nestle into the center of each loop.
