camwynTook the latest copper bracelet to Bead + Fiber yesterday.

The woman who owns the store inquired as to how long it took me to make and how much I'd charge for it; the price I gave was, in her opinion, too low. Which, not a surprise, seeing as the only price idea I had for anything like it was for something similar made entirely of sterling silver. After we discussed the bracelet and a few other pieces I'd made she asked if I would be interested in being one of five or six local jewelry makers in a trunk show she was planning this November- basically, show up at the store with thirty or so pieces to sell and split the take with the store according to a pre-agreed-upon percentage.
There is going to be a lot of evening craft work at my apartment for a while, I think.
(Having said that, my Smugmug gallery has been updated with a bunch of other pieces. I haven't given them alt text or descriptive text but they're at https://camwyn.smugmug.com/Jewelry/ if you're interested anyway. And a bunch of them are listed at my online store but it should be noted that I can do a certain degree of custom work, too.)
