camwynFinished a new jewelry piece last night. Sea glass, this time.
Boston drinks a lot of beer. Turns out if you pick over the right beach for a little bit you can get enough pieces of glass out of the deal to make a moderately decent-looking necklace. This is mostly done with 22-gauge gold-colored Artistic Wire and a few jump rings. The chain was from Michael's, and all I know about its content is that it was made in China and the package says 'zinc free'.
I'll probably be spending some time this weekend reading up on what you have to do to start an online business in Massachusetts, if folks are interested down the line.
