Chalk another one up to the list of 'candies I have made largely to find out exactly what the hell they were'. granted, up until now the list has consisted entirely of Turkish Delight, but as of last night I've made pralines.

They turned out quite nice. There are worse things in this world than having the skills to be a successful confectioner.
