Saw X-Men: Apocalypse. Screw the reviewers, *I* enjoyed it and thought they did a pretty good job.

Oh nice, I'll add it to my to watch list. I was hoping it would be a fun ride, I'll cherry pick for RP but X-Men movies tend to be fun.

I'm also fond of their Quicksilver (and it doesn't hurt that he often looks like a young Malcolm McDowell in many of the scenes). Do you think he's been doing Search & Rescue work on the sly, because he was extremely methodical and competent at rescuing everyone from the mansion?

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he had. There's probably more than a few people in the Maryland or Virginia area near DC who have stories like "I don't know, Officer, one minute I was in the kitchen and smelled gas, and then my vision went all streaky. Next thing I know I was down here on the sidewalk and there were flames coming out the window. I don't remember how I did it...."
